wow it's been forever.

Devin and I haven't had internet for quite some time so I am posting this from the library. It's been a tough few weeks... Devin got laid off and has been working at Buy Low (a grocery store) since then. He stocks overnights and it's horrible. He hates it a lot. I hate sleeping alone. It's so hard to be newly married and finally getting all used to things and having it turned upside down. We are both having trouble being optimistic about this. There just aren't really a lot of jobs out there right now. It sucks a lot. As we're hear now, he's scouring the internet for jobs on another computer.

It's nice to have Mom and Dillon living in the basement. It's really fun. We've had some good laughs. Mom came up at the end of our church small group on Tuesday and complimented on how clean our second bedroom was. (It was a disaster before. we threw out four huge boxes of stuff and donated a trash bag load of clothing to the D.I.) We told her thanks and she went on to say "Now you could go have sex on the floor in there!" in front of the group. It was hilarious. We all were laughing. I love her sense of humor and how she doesn't care what anyone thinks.

landlords=dumb

Sorry, I haven't had a blog in awhile, so i forgot I made it. haha. (Sorry, leash!)

Devin and I have had this horrible never ending battle with our landlord. When we first moved in, the fridge broke and our landlord didn't replace it for 8 days. The supposedly "new" fridge he got us went out last week. It lasted about 2 months. We reported it to him and we had just gone grocery shopping so we were a little frustrated. We had about $200 worth of refridgerated food. He told us to just put it all in the semi cold freezer (the fridge was already warm) and that he would have us a fridge by the end of that day or the next. He didn't contact us for 5 days. Luckily our friend, Janice, had recently upgraded her fridge so she offered us her old one for free. Our landlord still hasn't done anything. The kicker is he won't even return our calls! He will only talk to us via text message. How lame is that?! Anyways, I will write more in a little bit. I have some fun pictures.

married and new blog

Well, here we are - married and still in the beginning of our new life together.

I know I am enjoying it. It's different, fun, and exciting. We have our little pup, Zombie, to keep us youthful (haha). He certainly is a handful. He seems to enjoy waking us up by nipping us on the ear. ouch.

Devin has the worst cold he thinks he's ever had. I'm starting to feel it coming on...

My mom is coming to town this weekend! oh how I miss her.

My cousin, Chelsea, is getting married. I wish my sister could come up too...

It's bed time! I must tend to Devin and get some rest.

Our little Zombie at 6 weeks. 2.1 lbs.

9 weeks. 4.2 lbs. He likes to pounce on dandelions, tear them apart, and run away as seen in this picture. hehe.

He's 12 weeks now, but I'm in dire need of taking more pictures of him. hehe.
